Inside Soho House Bangkok’s pre-opening highlights

Soho House Bangkok finally opens this week, but we’ve already hosted a series of pre-launch celebrations for our new local members – from a signature preview dinner to a ‘Baan Soho’ pop-up.

Creative power dinner

Members and special guests across the city’s creative industries enjoyed a dinner prepared by Soho House Bangkok Executive Chef Kesinee Damrongsakul (Kaew) that showcased both our global and local menu. On the night, Committee members and the Bangkok team discussed the strengths and needs of the city’s creative community over our signature cocktails. 

Drag karaoke night

We held our first soiree in the House’s events room with a 1990s drag-themed karaoke night that did not disappoint. On the roster were some of Thailand’s leading drag queens – Zymone, Zeepee and Gigi Fierce – who posed, vogued and sashayed across the dance floor until the early hours. 

Poolside sip and sound with Daydrinkers.collective

We teamed up with natural honey wine producers Daydrinkers.collective to host our very first poolside sip and sound event. Based in Chiang Dao, Thailand, the specialist winemakers talked to members about the inspiration behind the brand, how they source their honey, and the wine’s fermentation process. Chilled poolside vibes followed, with a minimal house DJ set by Koish.
