House Nights: Stars collide at Daniel Kaluuya’s BAFTA afterparty

The award-winning actor played host to some of Britain’s biggest names in TV at Soho Works, 180 Lofts on Sunday evening
Monday 14 March 2022
March, and the capital rolls out its red carpet for the world’s hottest stars in film and TV during awards season. Many of them descended on the Royal Albert Hall in London for the EE British Academy Film Awards – all smiling in front of a frenzy of paparazzi flashes – but it was Daniel Kaluuya’s afterparty at Soho Works, 180 Lofts that was the place to be seen.
Even though the actor didn’t nab an award, he certainly stole the show. Not only did that Prada runway coat send Instagram into a tizz, but Kaluuya also used his opportunity on stage to pay tribute to the late, great Jamal Edwards, who sadly passed away last month.
Among the party guests were BAFTA Rising Star winner, Lashana Lynch; BRIT winner, Little Simz; her fellow Top Boy cast members, Ashley Walters, Jasmine Jobson, Araloyin Oshunremi and Hope Ikpoku Jnr; actors Paapa Essiedu, Tom Hiddleston and Stephen Graham; musicians Ray BLK, Ghetts and Joy Crookes; TV personality, Dermot O’Leary; fashion designer, Bianca Saunders, and models Jourdan Dunn, Neelam Gill, and Leomie Anderson.
