Monday 26 September 2022   By Soho House

1. Nightjar takeover at 76 Dean Street
For this new takeover on the House’s ground floor, we welcome Nightjar, the cocktail pioneer that has a reputation for breathing new life into forgotten cocktails. Enjoy fresh takes on classic recipes, accompanied by a performance from Madeleine, a masterful storyteller who will take you on a journey through soulful blues, the swing of the jazz era, and smoking New Orleans-style love songs.

You can book this event here.

2. Future First: Tara Lily at 180 House
Future First is our regular Monday event focusing on the latest music with an exciting and cross-genre approach. This week, we welcome Tara Lily, an artist whose unique perspective on music and global culture stems from a life spent absorbing a multitude of sounds and genres from her surroundings, ranging from alternative R&B to classical jazz and the traditional folk music of her Bengali homeland.

5. Live From White City Studios: comedy hosted by Esther Manito at White City House
Live From White City Studios is back, hosted by Esther Manito, an Arab-Essex girl who has starred on Live At The Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show, and Dave’s Hypothetical. The headliner for this evening is Kae Kurd, a sharp, smart and very funny performer who you may know from Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, and The Complaints Department, and whose stand-up special Kurd Your Enthusiasm was a huge success. Toussaint Douglass also joins the bill: one of comedy’s most talked-about new names, his innovative brand of stand-up mixes the personal with the political, while adding a uniquely absurdist slant to brilliant comic effect. Completing the line-up is one of the best hidden gems of the comedy circuit, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro, who has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands.
