Frieze LA: Inside the parties and panels at our West Coast Houses

Last week, the art world converged at our four West Coast Houses for Frieze.

To kick things off, on Wednesday, contemporary artist Hebru Brantley joined us at Soho Warehouse for a discussion of his narrative-driven work. On Thursday, Soho House West Hollywood members took a special guided tour of the Gagosian. Meanwhile, over in Downtown LA, Soho Warehouse and The OG magazine hosted a special House Party to celebrate its latest edition with past and present cover artists. 

The weekend started early on Friday evening at Soho Warehouse with a talk by photographer Clifford Prince King in conversation with curator Gemma Rolls-Bentley. Also that evening,  artists Derrick Adams and Mickalene Thomas joined members at Little Beach House Malibu. We then ended art week on Saturday with a brunch at our West Hollywood House with Rolls-Bentley, who is chief curator at Avant Arte and the curator of the Brighton Beacon Collection – the UK’s largest permanent display of queer art for Soho House’s Brighton Beach House.
