Comedy heavyweights Dane Baptiste, Sara Pascoe and Phil Wang are the agony aunts you never knew you needed this week in our Live Room. Sustainable Christmas crafting
Tuesday 7 

Creative craft couple, Zeena Shah and Zack Mclaughlin, join forces with Heaps + Stacks founder, Keziah Wildsmith, in this special Live Room from our Soho Friends space in Shoreditch, east London. Throwing parties can come with a lot of unnecessary waste, so in this session they share some simple tips to help you make the most of what you have in this seasonal craft-along. Hosted by Soho House’s own Megan Rose Murray. 


Pimp your roast: alternative roast dinners and natural wines

Join us in our recently launched Brixton space in south London for a special episode dedicated to the roast dinner. Ed Gamble (comedian and host of Off Menu), Hannah Crosbie (wine writer and founder of Dalston Wine Club), Ruby Bhogal (Great British Bake Off 2018 finalist) and our Soho Chance winners show you some excellent ways to add edge to this classic meal. Expect oyster shucking, hot sauce pairings, and Pet Nats (that’s natural sparkling wine).

Dress-up with Dame Zandra Rhodes, Pam Hogg, and Aja Barber
Monday 13

Two of the UK’s most infamous fashion designers, Dame Zandra Rhodes and Pam Hogg, join forces at Soho Farmhouse for a Live Room like no other. They’re heading to the Farm with their friends, Piers Atkinson and Lida Hujić, where they’ll use their own collections from years gone by and the present day to dress a number of Soho House members in the ultimate Christmas ensemble. They also walk us through their fabulous careers from the late 1960s to now. This fashion squad is joined by Aja Barber, author of the book, Consumed, which explores consumer culture. 

How to avoid burn-out this winter

In this panel discussion, we discuss some alternative ways and best practices to manage your mental health over the festive season from the perspectives of a spiritual healer, life coach, tarot card reader, and therapist. This Live Room acts as a good reminder to preserve your own energy during what can be a challenging time of year. Leave with advice and tips you can apply to your own life, as well as information on how to support those around you.

As part of our ongoing partnership with the ICA Miami, we’re welcoming W Magazine’s executive editor, Armand Limnander, and featured artist, Hugh Hayden, for a morning panel discussion in the Beach Tent. In his innovative work across various mediums, Hayden creates anthropomorphic forms that explore our relationship with the natural world.
