Soho Futures: Women's Grant Mexico City
Women in Mexico face gender disparities in the labour market, including reduced access to opportunities, lower wages, workplace harassment and barriers to succeed in their careers. Their participation in the creative industries in particular is low.
Improving conditions for women in work is essential to achieving gender equality, and advancing social and economic outcomes. With the opening of our new House, we want to support efforts to improve gender balance in the creative industries.
The Soho Futures Grant in Mexico City aims to increase access to the arts and creative industries for women who face economic challenges or other barriers to inclusion.
Soho House is offering £25,000, to be awarded between 25 individuals, to help them bring a creative project to life.
This grant can fund a wide range of projects and ideas, with a focus on supporting concepts that have a positive social or environmental benefit.
Grants are awarded by a Soho House panel – from our team and members – working across varied creative disciplines.
