London’s oldest and most prestigious cinema is celebrating a century of film. Over the course of the next year, Electric Vintage screenings and events will pay homage to the cinema’s anniversary history with Silent Film screenings with musical accompaniment, to Horror and Sci-Fi All-Nighters, a 50s double bill and live events. On 27 February 2011, the year’s will culminate with a special birthday event.
Along with a great programme of films, the Electric offers a unique cinema experience with original interior, luxurious leather seating, footstools and tables plus a fully-licensed bar serving food and drink.
