Last week saw the inaugural Frieze New York hitting town, and Soho House joined the art fair at Randall’s Island to stage a pop-up House. Ably supported by our friends at Bombay Sapphire, our temporary House and Cecconi’s kept members and guests fuelled, watered and refreshed as they took in 180 of the most exciting contemporary art galleries from around the world. A Birthday Bash was thrown to celebrate the official start of Summer in New York. James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem kicked off the festivities with a DJ set on the roof, and the guys from Holy Ghost also swung by the check out the action. It was hot, hot, hot in all more ways than one – but members got to cool off AND take home a birthday treat with a Lucky Dip in the pool.
