Celebrity Battle Of The Brains In Support Of Homeless Young People
Kirsty Young hosted The Ultimate Pub Quiz at Shoreditch House on the 1st February to raise vital funds for youth homelessness charity Centrepoint. Charity ambassador, Kirsty Young, who has supported Centrepoint for over 10 years took to the hot seat as quizmaster picking celebrities’ brains.
Team captains and celebrities on the night included Davina McCall, Sara Cox, Michael McIntyre, George Lamb, James Corden and Richard Bacon. Teaming up with Centrepoint corporate supporters, the teams were quizzed on a series of questions spanning the 40 years since Centrepoint was founded, in which it has supported over 70,000 homeless young people.
Kirsty Young said: “I have been a Centrepoint ambassador since 1997 and firmly believe in the value of the charity’s work. It is vital that we work together to end youth homelessness and ensure vulnerable young people are given a chance in life.”
Seyi Obakin Centrepoint’s CEO said: “Centrepoint supports over 800 young people everyday and this event has helped raise vital funds to provide more homeless young people with a safe place to sleep, where they can start to build a brighter future. It also helps keep the issue of homelessness in our minds during the current harsh winter”.

Chef, Author, Campaigner and current TED Prize Winner, Jamie joined members of Soho House West Hollywood to discuss his drive for a Food Revolution. His campaign follows the fight to get processed food out of schools and our homes, and to teach children and adults that cooking is a life-skill and not a luxury.
How you can help?
1. Film yourself on your camera phone, pledging your support to the Food Revolution for better food standards and send it to us. Something like “Hi this is….I support Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, and so should you!”
2. Produce sponsors, we really need food sponsors for the kitchen and mobile kitchen cooking classes, so connect us with anyone who may be able to help.
3. Campaign sponsorship, the Food Revolution is run by a very small team of 7, but these people support the national campaign, so let us know of any potential sponsors/partners for the campaign.
4. The Food Revolution Truck, it’s here and it wants to come to your event! Let us know what you are up to and we can see if we can get it there.
Send all recordings, photographs and questions to FoodRevolution@JamieOliver.com
