It's Nice That
This week’s It’s Nice That picks are are a pretty diverse bunch, a sign of how many talented (and in one case maybe bored) people there are out there, ready to create and ready to share the fruits of their labour.
Fashionary
The fashion world is one of big ideas and intricate details, but that’s been subverted by Fashionary’s 8 bit versions. Featuring the likes of Givenchy, Viktor & Rolf and Alexander McQueen these redux retro graphics are a far cry from the high-end couture they represent.

The Cat Scan
In the It’s Nice That studio, we all appreciate a good pun. This beauty of a blog satisfies our love of word play, and is quite frankly inspired. Got a cat? Got a scanner? Now you know what to do this weekend. (No cats were harmed etc etc)
Mogollon
For Mogollon’s recent Tokyo exhibition, Something is About to Happen, they showed this absolutely beautiful piece of moving image. The exhibition ended this week, so if you didn’t manage to see it, feast your eyes. The narrative isn’t your standard by any means; the piece opens with a lightning-filled lava lamp of beautiful Egyptian visuals, transforms into ornate human larvae bursting from a cocoon before being engulfed by what look to us like undulating, digital rain drops. Magic.
